Samvit Sudha® is a women empowerment initiative based in the serene village of Shirali, North Karnataka, India. Launched in 1999 as a tailoring and embroidery unit, it has grown into a vibrant hub for handcrafted products made from fabric, handmade paper, and upcycled materials.
Samvit Sudha® - India - mission is to provide sustainable livelihoods for underprivileged women, enabling them to gain financial independence while managing their family responsibilities. Beyond economic empowerment, Samvit Sudha® nurtures creativity, builds confidence, and offers skill training in tailoring, hand embroidery, inkle weaving, and handmade paper crafts.
Founded under the guidance of His Holiness Sadyojāt Shankarāshram Swāmījī, 11th Pontiff in the lineage of the 300+ years-old Shrī Chitrāpur Math. Samvit Sudha® was inspired by the vision of His Holiness Parijñānāshram Swāmījī III.
Since 2011, Samvit Sudha® has been proudly supported by Parijnan Foundation®, a public charitable trust dedicated to education, rural development, and women empowerment. With their support, Samvit Sudha® has impacted thousands of lives across villages in Karnataka.
